PUHI — A food distribution for 250 families will take place on Thursday at the Kaua‘i Philippine Cultural Center, the Hawai‘i Foodbank Kaua‘i announced.
Starting from 4:30 p.m., the food will be distributed on a first-come-first-serve basis. No appointments are being taken.
“Look for the food distribution sign,” said Tisha Remigio of the foodbank. “We’re grateful for grant funding from the Kaua‘i United Way that enables us to nourish our ‘ohana this holiday season.”
Remigio said the foodbank is asking those who need food assistance to have a clear trunk space, and have their government issued identification, like drivers’ license, ready for registration at the site.
