Following are this week’s synopses of shows on KBFD TV, which televises Korean dramas with English subtitles:
Weekly Update
“Blessed by the Sea”
Episodes 13, 14, 15 and 16 (Sunday)
Today, 6:40 p.m.: The painting disappears. Poong-do tells Shi-joon to be treat Chung-yi with respect. Chung-yi on the other hand tells Poong-do off for offending Shi-joon. Ma Young-in is enraged at the lost painting. Chung-yi treis like crazy to prove her father’s innocence.
Today, 7:45 p.m.: Poong-do is bothered by how cruel Duk-hee is treating Chung-yi. Shi-joon comes down on Chung-yi for not telling him where Ji-na is. Ji-na takes it up with Pil-du when her internship ends, to give her another chance.
“Goodbye to Goodbye”
Episodes 37 and 38 (Monday); Episodes 39 and 40 (Tuesday)
Monday, 6:45 p.m.: Jung Hyo’s condition turns worse. Se Young tells Sang Jin they should go their separate ways. Jung Hyo’s mother comes to visit Jung Hyo. Ok Ja is diagnosed with dementia. Young Hee and Sang Jin go to meet with Young Hee’s father.
Tuesday, 6:50 p.m.: Se Young makes an important decision. Jung Hyo is 4 months away from due date. Jung Hyo tells Se Young to think twice about her decision. Su Cheol and Jung Hyo’s mother finally find peace.
“Secret House”
Episodes 45 and 46 (Wednesday) Episodes 47 and 48 (Thursday)
Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Ji-hwan finds life insurance policies with Tae-hee as the beneficiary. Chairman Nam reminisce about his son, how his son tried to divorce Sook-jin but couldn’t because she got pregnant with their first child. Joo-hong plans to study abroad to forget Ji-hwan.
Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: Ji-hwan has an upper hand over Yang Man-soo. Ji-hwan is able to control Yang. Tae-hyung resigns from his assemblyman position. Sook-jin threatens the Police Chief. Ji-hwan asks Yang Man-soo about his mother.
“Uncontrollably Fondness”
Episode 15 (Friday);
Episode 16 (Saturday)
Friday, 7:50 p.m.: Jitae is enraged and puts Eunsoo’s dismissal up for vote, escalating their conflict. Junyeong tries to seduce Jungeun. No Eul find out what Junyeong so desperately wanted to keep secret.
Saturday, 7:50 p.m.: No Eul tries to stay with Junyeong, but he pushes her away coldly. Chairman Choi learns the truth about Junyeong’s birth. Jitae, Eunsoo and Jungeun all make their move according to their respective interests. On the other hand, No Eul reveals her true feelings to capture Junyeong’s heart.
