Playing in a field of seven teams in the division, the Kaua‘i Rush 2014 topped the three-day tournament by beating out Albion SC G14 Academy by a 5-1 score to take the division championship for the second consecutive year.
Coaches Nash Desmarais and Dustin Broad said, “The girls trained hard the past four months after coming off a tough loss in the championship game of The Crossfire Challenge ‘Best of the Northwest’ located in Redmond, Washington. That tournament was played in July, the last tournament the team participated in.”
