KAPA‘A — The state Department of Transportation announced a full closure of the Kapa‘a bypass road between the north entrance with Kuhio Highway and Olohena Road from Monday through Friday, Dec. 5 to 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for grass and tree trimming.

• Portions of Mailihuna, Hau‘a‘ala and Kawaihau roads will be closed, and detours will be put in place, from Monday through Saturday, Dec. 5 to 10, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., as construction of the new roundabout continues. No road work will occur during the peak traffic times for school drop-off and pick-up.
Wailua
• A right-shoulder closure and narrowed lanes of Kuhio Highway are possible in the southbound direction between mile markers 5.7 and 6.7, in the vicinity of Leho Drive and the Kapa‘a bypass road, from Saturday to Friday, Dec. 3 to 9, for Kuhio Highway short-term improvements. An alternating closure of both lanes of Kuhio Highway in either direction is possible between Kuamo‘o Road and the Kapa‘a bypass road for Kuhio Highway short-term improvements, Monday through Friday, Dec. 5 to 9, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Koloa
• The county Department of Public Works and Goodfellow Bros. LLC announced occasional traffic delays at the Koloa Road and Ala Kalanikaumaka intersection to perform work on the Koloa Road roundabout central island, Monday through Friday, Dec. 5 to Dec. 9, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

I don’t see mention of the STILL NOT FIXED one lane bridge by the Wailua soccer fields. Why not, fix it so we can have a through way alternative. Enough, please get it fixed
