Kudos, Attalia and Eric Alverdes, on another great Wailua Creators Fair (40 vendors?) at the Hilton Garden Inn Kaua‘i Wailua Bay on Sunday.

Still waiting on Chef Raphael Camarillo to get a full staff so he can join Shaka Burgers with some Hilton offerings. Attalia and Eric are ready for the holidays, with two Wailua Creators’ Fair scheduled for December, 11th and 23rd from 8:30 a.m. (Vianne Tabata was lucky enough to get two boxes of Watasadas Malasadas!).
Madi Jimenez of Mailelani’s is definitely going to be busy, because she’s going to be at the craft fair at the Grove Farm Market on Saturday (who’s handling the Sweet Pea fair at the former Pier 1 location?) before doing the Holly Jolly event (yes, Mailelani’s is a Kaua‘i Made vendor!) on Dec. 10 at the Sheraton Kaua‘i Coconut Beach Resort, and then the Wailua Creators’ Fair on Dec. 11 — what?
Morgan Lopez got her Kaua‘i Made accreditation for Pele Jele, and even set up a brick-and-mortar at the Anahola Marketplace.
Melody Pigao of Kilohana Clothing (she does apparel and accessories using the Kaua‘i Coffee burlap bags!) said she’s doing the Dec. 10 Holly Jolly event, and at least the two more Wailua Creators’ Fair events before Christmas.
So, how are we going to squeeze in the Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation calendar? Kaua‘i High School boys basketball hosts its tournament from Thursday at both Kaua‘i High School gym in Lihu‘e and Wilcox Gymnasium at Island School in Puhi, and girls soccer starts on Saturday morning.
Happy holidays! Stay dry!
