LIHU‘E — Little Pea is returning with her Holiday Market on Saturday and Sunday at the former Pier 1 location in the Kukui Marketplace, close to the Target store, said Peach Alpeche, event organizer.
The market will open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day, with about 30 Kaua‘i vendors and small businesses that will have their products available for sale.
“These participating businesses and vendors will also be donating a product for the silent auction table, where all of the proceeds will be going to the Kaua‘i Hospice,” Alpeche said.
Last year’s event benefited baby Seeley Borges, who was battling leukemia, and helped with the infant and her medical expenses.
“I have also spoken with Haylee Borges, and baby Seeley will be at the event, helping to pass out popcorn and saying hello to everyone,” Alpeche said.
