Mahalo, Melissa McFerrin-Warrack (and Finnegan, too!) for the special Aunty Lilikoi treat (it’s the real stuff!) for all the office people — this is the real ol’ style Thanksgiving!
Mahalo, Melissa McFerrin-Warrack (and Finnegan, too!) for the special Aunty Lilikoi treat (it’s the real stuff!) for all the office people — this is the real ol’ style Thanksgiving!
Mahalo, The Salvation Army (mahalo to all those drive-thru drivers who had extra for The Red Kettle, too!) and all those volunteers (especially first-time volunteers Ayie and Javier Melendez of the Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas!) for getting those more than 1,000 to-go lunches ready for the community lunch, and mahalo to Sarah Rogers and all the hands that come together (especially Mark and Wendy — when was birthday?) Oyama and the Mark’s Place and Contemporary Flavors Catering for the Kapa‘a Interfaith Association on hosting the KIA Thanksgiving Lunch at the All Saints Gym (and the Kapa‘a Hongwanji Mission for the home deliveries) …mahalo for the togetherness that makes a meal special said Rev. Kerry Holder Joffrion of the Episcopal Church on West Kaua‘i, who was helping Salvation Army, Hanapepe Corps’ Lt. Jose Gonzalez who went to school with Kahu Kawika Jackson of the All Saints Episcopal Church and Preschool.
That was enough to fuel all those Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday, and Giving Tuesday (did you check out the Kitazawa Seed sale that fuels their Giving Tuesday efforts?), and what kind of special is Sunday?
Take care of each other!
