Let There Be Hawai‘i
In the beginning God created the heavens, he created the earth that was without form, and the earth was covered with darkness, then God Said let there be light. All of the land on earth was divided by oceans, thousands of islands rose from out of the sea, blessed with flowers, trade winds and rainbows, then God said, Let there be Hawai‘i.
Chorus: Golden people came from over the sea, to live together in perfect harmony. Here they will always be, through all eternity … God created the blue Pacific Ocean, created the moon and stars in the sky, he created the heavens, the earth and all people, then God said, Let there be Hawai‘i.
