Killer pothole leads to Walmart
Over the last year, I have seen MANY unsuspecting drivers bottom out and scrape the bottom of their cars when hitting the large pothole just beyond the speed bump at the Ahukini Road entrance on the south, to Walmart.
Someone needs to please take responsibility and fill in the pothole. Otherwise, we see most cars and trucks who are already aware of this large pothole drive to the left around the speed bump, at fairly good speeds, into the oncoming exit lane, which is dangerous for vehicles and bicycles exiting Walmart.

Concerned by football fans’ behavior
Tonight (Sept. 24, 2022), I was watching the high school (Waimea vs Kapa‘a) game on YouTube, played on Sept. 11, 2022 at Baptists football field in Kapa‘a.
Don’t know if the Kapa‘a spectators knew that the recording of the game was on their side of the field. You could hear some of the spectators using foul languages at the officials. There was a male spectator yelling to one of his own (a lady), “A you yelling at my f***ing kids, no yell at my f***ing kids!”
Also, could hear adult spectators egging on the Kapa‘a boys to play dirty. It’s a good thing these boys couldn’t hear the egging going on on the sideline.
All in all, it was an exciting game! And, of course I’m biased: GO BIG BLUE!
