Kudos to all the Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation bowling participants on getting the season’s first matches underway with a nearly full gallery of spectators and appreciative fans! Kudos, Adam Apo and the Kaua‘i Bowl crew on the great renovation work to Kaua‘i Bowl during the time when COVID-19 kept everybody home.

Kumu Sabra Kauka (dang it, missed seeing her Lehua Island piece) dropped in on the Mo‘olelo Murals artists (why was Maile so active?) to see what was happening before she had to bless the Dr. Pila Kikuchi artifacts at the Kaua‘i Community College Learning Resource Center…Kumu Sabra was the source of portions of the mural that’s scheduled to be completed by the end of the month, and there’s still time for people to sign up with the Mo‘olelo Murals to add their mana‘o to the mural by painting along with the artists…good experience because Edie Ignacio Neumiller (she painted with the girls, too) stopped by to see what was happening before attending a meeting to plan a political forum (yay!).
Nikki Cristobal said the color is pohaku gray when Bethany Coma (which side is the dimple on?) added the color of the day to the drop cloth…that’s definitely another Mana project…they just don’t know it.
Okay, this is it! Kaua‘i Marathon starts at 6 a.m…drive carefully and watch for the traffic monitors until at least this afternoon.
Happy Labor Day, Kaua‘i. Stay safe.
