HONOLULU — The Clarence T.C. Ching Foundation is pleased to announce the 13th Annual “Inspired in Hawai‘i” contest for students from kindergarten to 12th grade.
The contest is open to students across the State of Hawai‘i to submit either a student essay, poster, digital media poster, or video depicting this year’s theme of “Acts of Kindness.”
The Foundation will honor the top students, in each category and grade, at its annual awards ceremony in February 2023 by awarding winning students and teachers with over $20,000 in cash prizes.
Judges will select a First, Second and Third Place winner for each grade level in the Poster Division (open to grades K-12), Digital Media (open to grades 6-12), Essay Division (open to grades 6-12), and Video Division (open to middle school grades 6-8 and high school grades 9-12). The entry deadline for the contest is Nov. 4.
Since 2008, The Clarence T.C. Ching Foundation has committed over $90 million in grants to Hawai‘i schools and non-profit organizations that serve the state.
