LIHU‘E — As the Kaua‘i Community College welcome students on Monday, WalletHub.com announced the Puhi campus received the No. 14 ranking on the best list of its Best and Worst Community Colleges report Tuesday.
The report by the personal-finance website determines where students can receive the best education at the cheapest rates. The comparison was made from more than 650 community colleges across 19 key indicators of cost and quality, and includes cost of in-state tuition and fees, student-faculty ratio and graduation rates.
KCC, one of 10 community colleges within the University of Hawai‘i system, was the sole Hawai‘i community college to attain the Top 20 rating by WalletHub. Adding to the report, WalletHub said Hawai‘i received a No. 5 ranking for States with the Best Community College Systems.
Registration for fall 2022 classes is continuing, and will remain open through the first week of instruction.
