Kudos, Dan King, Diann Hartman (those Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i Resort & Spa tunnels are pretty cool as shortcuts), Claudia Lowdy (I thought she was just charity walk chair!) and the many hands at the Hyatt, for juggling the launch of the Kaua‘i United Way 2022 campaign (yes, Timothy Takeshita, go find a champion!), and the resort’s brief respite from bookings to be able to host a day-long employee-appreciation event for the resort’s many hard-working associates. Thank you, Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i, for showing how much your employees mean to you.

Bree Blake is afraid of heights (could’ve fooled me), but no one could tell when Bree joined Holly Ka‘iakapu and Bethany Coma up on the scaffold when Mana Wahine (just got to keep an eye on the YWCA building to see what the final is going to look like, Holly said) started to peek through. First group is supposed to be there Monday. The Mo‘olelo Murals wahine didn’t even know that Trysen Kaneshige (he’s got a show-stopper at the Lehua island art project at the Kaua‘i Society of Artists gallery in Kukui Grove Center in Lihu‘e, too!) was doing a mural at the ‘Ohana Fun Fair (good thing it was on Saturday). Definitely gotta check it out at KGC. Yes, it’s Sunday, but that TK mural might overflow. Or, is he going to be working on it during the KGC Pau Hana Market Monday?
