More than 70 members of the Kaua‘i High School Class of 1982 came together for their 40th class reunion over the weekend at the Sheraton Kaua‘i Coconut Beach Resort. “This was our 40th reunion,” said Carol Manera Texeira, a class member. “We had classmates flying in from as far away as Pennsylvania and Virginia. We had a blast!”

Starting Friday, the class enjoyed tubing at Kaua‘i Backcountry Adventures, followed by a family potluck at the Lydgate Park pavilion.
Saturday evening, the group met for a buffet dinner at the Sheraton Kaua‘i Coconut Beach Resort that prefaced more fun when the entire group stayed over at the Kaua‘i Shores Hotel for the entire three-day weekend.
