Following are this week’s synopses of shows on KBFD TV, which televises Korean dramas with English subtitles:
Weekly Update
“Dearest Lady”
Episode 45, 46, 47 and 48 (Sun.)
Today, 6:40 p.m.: Bo-bae gets upset seeing Gyu-chan and Mal-ja together. Mal-sook asks Ah-reum if she’s going to marry Young-kwang. Ah-reum tells her she loves Young-kwang. Gyu-chan sheds tears seeing Bo-bae in the ER. Ah-reum gets her purse snatched.
Today, 7:45 p.m.: Young-kwang tells Kang-ho that Ah-reum has no interest in other men. Ah-jung’s suspicious behavior plods Byung-ki to go through her pocket. Gyu-chan prays for Bo-bae to wake up. Ah-reum is accused of plagiarizing a design. Kang-ho defends her. Ah-reum rushes to the hospital hearing news of Bo-bae.
“Why Her?”
Episode 9 (Mon.); Episode 10 (Tues.)
Monday, 6:45 p.m.: Soo Jae agrees to live in Chan’s house until her building is done renovating, enjoying a brief escape from reality. Tae Kook has Chan in his radar and is surveilling them. Meanwhile, Yoon Sang quits the Legal Clinic Center and signs on as Soo Jae’s intern.
Tuesday, 6:50 p.m.: Soo Jae and Gong Chan succumb to their feelings. Soo Jae keeps herself busy with the Hansu Bio sale but is faced with a catastrophic setback. Ji Soon Ok visits the legal clinic leading to outing of Gong Chan’s real identity.
“You Are Too Much”
Episode 31 (Wed.) Episode 32 (Thur.)
Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Hyunjoon is a no show at the wedding. Gyongja acknowledges Haedang as Hyunjoon’s woman. Jina tells Gyongja that Haedang was once pledged to marry Gyongsu. Haedang gets kicked out from Sunghwan’s house.
Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: Sunghwan threatens Gyongsu for the Gyongae’s letter. Gyongsu counters Sunghwan, saying he can handover the letter to Hyunjoon. Hyunjoon tells Gyongja the existence of letter that could potentially be used against Sunghwan.
“Kim Suro, the Iron King”
Episode 25 (Fri.); Episode 26 (Sat.)
Friday, 7:50 p.m.: Suro announces that Ahyo will be released when Saro army retreats and Shingui Ghan leaves, Enraged Shingui Ghan secretly infiltrates Jangseo Village and kills Ahyo. Suro is framed for Ahyo’s death and seeks audience with Chachawoong. Talhae informs Chachawoong who the real murderer is.
Saturday, 7:50 p.m.: Furious Chachawoong imprisons Shingui Ghan and Suro. Jongyunbee embarks on a mission to rescue Suro. Kitae succeeds in rescuing Shingui Ghan from prison and Shingui Ghan is back at power.
