PO‘IPU — Molly Shewchuk of the Hawai‘i Lodging & Tourism Association Kaua‘i Chapter said there a few team spots remaining on a first-come, first-served basis for the Second annual Charity Walk Golf Tournament that will tee off at the Po‘ipu Bay Golf Course Saturday, July 9.
Team entry fee is $800 for a four-person team, and includes green fees, longest drive and closest to the line contests, lunch and awards at Keoki’s Paradise and prizes. The tournament starts with check-in and a bloody mary bar at 7 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
With Premier Restoration Hawai‘i as the event title sponsor, the tournament features more than 25 prizes, including hotel stays, pool passes and dining certificates from Keoki’s Paradise, Duke’s Canoe Club and several other restaurants in Kaua‘i’s resorts.
Premier Restoration will also feature a cigar lounge and lychee bar on the 16th hole, a feature that created a lot of fun and not-wanting-to-leave atmosphere during last year’s tournament.
Koloa Rum Company will sponsor a hole-in-one contest prize package that includes a grand prize of $25,000 cash, Net-Gen gaming console, patio set and fire pit, a Scotty Cameron putter and two Titleist Vokey wedges.
All proceeds will benefit the Kaua‘i Visitor Industry Charity Walk that has established a 2022 goal of raising $300,000 to help nearly 60 of Kaua‘i’s nonprofit organizations.
