A Charrette Week Walking Tour offers the public the chance to share ideas during a series of interactive public events. A walking tour and public meeting are Wednesday and Thursday, June 29 and 30, with a Zoom option available.
The walking tour takes place from the Lihu‘e Civic Center Planning Department office in the Mo‘ikeha Building Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. The charrette is facilitated by Nelson/Nygaard and PBR Hawai‘i.
An in-person meeting is Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Mo‘ikeha Building first-floor conference room.

The mobility plan will identify multimodal-transportation opportunities and parking-management strategies to support resident travel to and within the town core and surrounding areas.
The project will implement county and state goals to encourage transit-oriented development.
