Following are this week’s synopses of shows on KBFD TV, which televises Korean dramas with English subtitles:
Weekly Update
“Dearest Lady”
Episodes 29, 30, 31 and 32 (Sun.)
Today, 6:40 p.m.: Tae-oh tells Gyu-chan that Ah-reum was his girlfriend and that he wants to marry her. Mal-sook heads for Gyu-chan with sides dishes in hand. Mal-ja find out Gyu-chan is Bo-bae’s new husband. Ah-reum tells Kang-ho that they should date.
Today, 7:45 p.m.: Mal-sook comes to learn about Young-kwang and Ah-reum’s relationship and tries to let Bo-bae know. Se-ran rips up Ah-reum’s sketchbook. Gyu-chan wants to have Ah-reum marry soon. Ah-reum is torn seeing Young-kwang in pain. Se-ran installs a tracer on Kang-ho’s car.
“Why Her?”

Monday, 6:45 p.m.: After being an underdog in her law firm, she becomes the most cut-throat, winningest lawyer at TK Law Firm. Oh Soo Jae has an insatiable drive for winning and success but when it results in a tragic accident, she is quickly demoted and sent to be an adjunct professor at a law school.
Tuesday, 6:50 p.m.: After being publicly disgraced, Oh Soo Jae’s lecture is in danger of being cancelled when students are fighting to drop her class en masse. Na Se Ryeon accuses a popular professor of sexually harassing her but the odds are stacked against her. Gong Chan wants to help but evidence is sparse.

Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Sunghwan tells Jina, he can’t marry her until Gyongsu forgives her. Nagyong uses Gyongsu’s secret to negotiate with Gyongja. Haedang senses there’s more to that meets the eye about Jina and Gyongsu.
Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: Haedang finds out about Gyongsu and Jina but tells all she will stay with Gyongsu. Hyunjoon decides to give up on Haedang. Nagyong proposes to Sunghwan in exchange for telling him about Jina’s son, to make Hyunsung the heir.
“Kim Suro, the Iron King”
Episode 17 (Fri.);
Episode 18 (Sat.)
Friday, 7:50 p.m.: Suro lets Talhae live for Talhae’s father’s sake. Talhae discovers Suro being Jongyunbee’s son while talking to Euison. Jongyunbee wishes Yiginashi to takeover Chungoon but when Nachalnyo opposes, she attacks Chunmyongdan. Suro follows Shingui Ghan’s order to set up an iron yard. He chases after men who kidnapped Ahyo then gets attacked himself.
Saturday, 7:50 p.m.: Jongyunbee realizes Suro is her son. Shingui Ghan and Jobang’s wife are stunned to find out who Suro’s real mother is. Talhae tries to kill Suro using an imposter doctor but is discovered. Jongyunbee orders Yiginashi to capture Talhae to trying to harm Suro. Yiginashi can’t accept Suro as his brother and let’s Talhae get away.
