WAIPOULI — The Blood Bank of Hawai‘i returns to the Garden Isle from Tuesday, April 19 through Thursday, April 21, at the Sheraton Kaua‘i Coconut Beach Resort.
Hours of operations vary by day:
• Tuesday, April 19, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.;
• Wednesday, April 20, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Thursday, April 21, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“We’re excited to be returning to Kaua‘i and grateful for our donors who continue to dedicate themselves to saving lives,” said Todd Lewis, BBH chief operating officer. “We also want to remind the community that new donors are always welcome, as well as all blood types.”
The BBH continues to prioritize the safety of staff, donors and the community through enhanced sanitation protocols.
Although the statewide mask mandate recently ended, BBH staff and donors are required to wear face coverings during the blood drive.
Each donation can save up to three lives. Healthy donors interested in giving blood may register at bbh.org or call 808-848-4770.
Appointments are required, as walk-ins can no longer be accommodated.
Individuals with questions about operations during COVID-19 may visit bbh.org/COVID-19 or connect via social media at @BloodBankHawaii.
