LIHU‘E — The County of Kaua‘i Department of Finance Driver License Division and Motor Vehicle Division in the Lihu‘e Civic Center Mo‘ikeha Building closes early daily, at 3 p.m., every other week, beginning today.
The closure is to accommodate staff trainings for an integration project that involves the combination of both the divisions into one, full-service Division of Motor Vehicles.
The DMV integration project will allow more appointment availability, reduced wait times in the lobby, reduced processing times, and improved technical expertise and customer service, the release states.
