PO‘IPU — Table 53, located in the RumFire restaurant at the Sheraton Kaua‘i Resort, continues to generate funds for Kaua‘i nonprofits in spite of the pandemic.
Recently, the Po‘ipu property the Kaua‘i United Way with a contribution of $15,927.05, representing the net food and beverage proceeds for the months of Oct. through Dec. 2021.
Chip Bahouth, resort general manager, noted that a lot of these contributions are from visitors who come to visit while the island recovers from the two-year pandemic.
Under the “You Dine, We Donate” charitable program at the resort’s RumFire restaurant, the Table 53 program has generated $396,514 for local Kaua‘i charities since the program started in 2012.
A selected nonprofit or charity is selected each month to receive the net proceeds from Table 53 food and beverage sales.
Diners interested in participating in RumFire’s month-long Table 53 program are encouraged to make reservations in advance by calling 808-742-4786 and requesting Table 53.
