Girl Scout Sydelle Franson of Troop 4303 (it’s the Kapa‘a Elementary School troop) still had the full range of Girl Scout cookie flavors during her appearance at the Downtown Lihu‘e Night Market on Kress Street Saturday (Lexi Jones had her MVP turning on the lights), where Lucas Murillo, Soulei Sunshine (and don’t forget Kula!) were able to squeeze in dinner between all that caramel (it’s called Royals!) at the Life and Land Hawai‘i.

Sydelle’s mother said the troop will be available for more cookie sales (there’re only a couple of Saturdays left in March!), this Saturday in front of the Bank of Hawai‘i in Kapa‘a.
St. Patrick’s Day (happy birthday, TGI Editor Sabrina Bodon!) came early Sunday when the leprechaun made an early visit to Kukui Grove Center (kudos, Jean Souza of Kaua‘i Ocean Discovery, and sanctuary volunteer Carol Everett, on making all those marine-debris kits available for free!), where Brenda Turville of Showtime Characters figured out how to do those four-leafed clover balloons.
More kudos to Chris Jordan (he’s the OZone skipper!) and Carl Andersson (he keeps the Kaua‘i Sailing Association ‘young’ sailors in the race aboard Double Espresso) on joining the Sustainable Coastlines (kudos on cleaning up that Nawiliwili Harbor overlook opala!) Kokua Kaua‘i Day coordinated by the Hokuala Timbers Resort ‘ohana!
