KPD looking for missing Hanapepe man

Benjamin Brothers, 80, is missing, and described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing 100 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. He is of Caucasian descent, and is seen aboard his personal watercraft at Port Allen Small Boat Harbor.

PORT ALLEN — The Kaua‘i Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding a missing Hanapepe man.

Benjamin Brothers, 80, was last seen at around midnight on March 16, in his Hanapepe residence.

Brothers is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 100 pounds. He has gray hair, blue eyes, and is of Caucasian descent.

The Kaua‘i Fire Department and U.S. Coast Guard are also part of the search efforts.

Earlier Wednesday, KPD personnel located Brothers’ truck and trailer at Port Allen Small Boat Harbor. First responders found his personal watercraft about 6.5 miles offshore.
