LIHU‘E — The County of Kaua‘i Department of Public Works Solid Waste Division with the state Department of Health are sponsoring an electronic waste (eWaste) recycling contest that runs from March 1 to 31.
LIHU‘E — The County of Kaua‘i Department of Public Works Solid Waste Division with the state Department of Health are sponsoring an electronic waste (eWaste) recycling contest that runs from March 1 to 31.
The contest is open to all public, private and home-school students on Kaua‘i.
Teachers and students or family and friends of students interested in this contest can visit kauai.gov/recycling for more information. Teachers can requests via email, including contest rules and contest tickets. Prizes this year include outdoor adventure activities from local businesses.
eWaste recycling services are provided by Resource Recovery Solutions operating out of the Puhi Metals Recycling Facility, 3951 Puhi Road, Monday to Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
