Julio Parbo
Julio Parbo passed away on Feb. 11, 2022, at his residence, at the age of 82. He was born on Sept. 3, 1940 in Batac, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He was a sugar factory plant processor with Kekaha Sugar Company.
He was preceded in death by wife Catalina Parbo, parents Eustaquio, and Ceriaca Parbo, brothers Felix, Rizalino and Alfredo Parbo, and sisters Filomina Pacunayen, Benita Caluya, Antonia Siruet and Leonara Peralta.
He is survived by daughter Luz (Orlando) Austria of Waimea, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, sister Victoria Parbo of the Philippines, sisters-in-law Cornelia Parbo of California and Virginia Parbo of Kekaha, and by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
His service is Tuesday, Feb. 15, at St. Theresa Church, Kekaha, with visitation from 9 a.m. and Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kekaha Public Cemetery. The family suggests casual attire and requests that flowers be omitted.
