LIHU‘E — Wednesday, the state Department of Health Kaua‘i District Health Office announced 335 new cases of COVID-19.
This brings the county’s number of active recorded cases to 810, with six hospitalized. To date, the county has recorded 8,026 cumulative cases.
Free testing is available at the Kaua‘i War Memorial Convention Hall in Lihu‘e weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The Kaua‘i Mobile COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic is at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center today from 1 to 5 p.m. This clinic will offer walk-in vaccinations for those aged 12 and older for first and second doses. Third doses and booster shots will also be available. Vaccines for children ages 5 to 11 will not be offered at this clinic.

The Kaua‘i Hospital Mobile Vaccine van holds a walk-in vaccine clinic today at the Kapa‘a Neighborhood Center from 1 to 5 p.m. Both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines for those ages 12 and older for first and second doses, third doses and booster doses will all be offered at no cost.
Saturday, Ho‘ola Lahui Hawai‘i will host community clinics at their health centers in Waimea and Kapa‘a, from 9 to 11 a.m. These clinics are open to ages 5 and up, and walk-ins are welcome.
