Later this month, The Garden Island Newspaper will launch its digital-subscription platform to continue offering its premium exclusive content.
Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 25, online readers will be able to access 10 stories within a 30-day period. Readers wishing to read more will be asked to subscribe, whether that’s through a digital-only or print subscription.
This subscription model will help to sustain operations at The Garden Island and allow the newsroom to continue serving the community.
This exclusive content is what The Garden Island journalists have written for years. It’s conversations with community leaders, reporting of critical issues affecting the island and above all, it’s what’s happening on Kaua‘i.
Print readers who already subscribe will have access to TGI’s print replica eEdition online in addition to unlimited digital access. Print subscribers who have not yet created an online account can do so here.
Sharing local news will continue to be the primary focus of The Garden Island. TGI will offer access to special sections, classified ads and breaking news coverage outside of the 10-story limit.
Non-subscribers who register for an account here, before the end of January, will get access to 30 premium stories during the month of February.
