LIHU‘E — On Wednesday at 6 p.m., the Kaua‘i Climate Action Forum will present an online program on the U.S. military and its role in the climate crisis.
Lisa Savage, co-founder of the Maine Natural Guard, will make a presentation, followed by a panel discussion, question-and-answer session and a general discussion among participants and the guest speakers.
The all-Hawai‘i panel includes Koohan Paik-Mander, journalist, international activist and coauthor of “The Superferry Chronicles;” Ann Wright, retired colonel, U.S. diplomat and co-author of “Dissent: Voices of Conscience;” and Kip Godwin, a peace and justice activist.
The U.S. military is the largest greenhouse-gas emitter in the world, yet it is exempt from climate negotiations, according to Kaua‘i Climate Action Coalition.

Here come the radicals again. Anti everything they don’t like because they know better than you do. It’s all a scam for control. But, YOU alone can decide how YOU want to do what is right for the earth’s resources. All ancient cultures knew this long before some radical started believe that you can’t think for yourself.
I’ve been reading that the biggest problem was all of the cattle in the packing yards emitting all of the gas. Sure a 900-pound cow emits more flatulent gas than a mere sergeant, and there are many more cows than sergeants at last count!
