Pastor Bob Hallman changed my family’s lives for the better. I would not be baptized; I would not have learned how to be a Godly Christian mother without him. He loved on my family with all his heart and soul. Didn’t matter how long it had been since he’d seen me; he’d always give me a warm heart and aloha when I’d come and visit. I dedicated each one of my children to the Lord at his church. I have been deep in sorrow for his beloved wife Becky and his sons and grand-daughters. I hope one day to see them all again and tell them how much Pastor Bob meant to me. I am even more homesick for Heaven to be reunited with my first baby girl and see Pastor Bob waiting in his Heavenly body waving the shaka at me. A Hui Hou Kākou Pastor Bob. Aunty Becky, I’m loving on you from afar. I wish I was there to hug you. John and Michael, I send my deepest condolences. I can’t imagine losing a parent at your ages. I know you’ll make your Dad proud. I’m glad you had a Dad that loved you with his whole heart. Was there to wipe every tear, teach you how to become Godly men. To know you were wanted! A gift from the Lord! A comfort to you I hope in this time of grief. Sending much love from the mainland.
Much love to the Hallman Family,
Portia Bertelson
