Above Wailua Bay lies the Sleeping Giant mountain. It’s a wonder of this world, so lonely looking at the sky.
Above Wailua Bay lies the Sleeping Giant mountain. It’s a wonder of this world, so lonely looking at the sky.
When a rain cloud passes by, tears fall from his eyes. I live just below his tummy. I had to compose a song for him. Hope he will have a Happy New Year.
Sleeping Giant
There’s a mountain called the Sleeping Giant about Wailua Bay. People come from miles around to see him every day.
Although he sleeps he seems to be looking at the sky, and when a raincloud passes by tears fall from his eyes.
Chorus: Sleeping Giant slumber warm in the summer nights, Sleeping Giant lonely one may your days be bright.
The time for you go quickly by a million years or two, you’re a wonder of this world, may your dreams of love come true.
Sleeping Giant, Sleeping Giant, may your dreams come true.
Sleeping Giant, Sleeping Giant, may your dreams come true.
