Tsurue Ijima Hashimoto
Tsurue Ijima Hashimoto passed away on Dec. 14, 2021, at the age of 100, in Waimea.
She was born on May 21, 1921 in Makaweli. She worked in housekeeping in the resort industry.
She was preceded in death by parents Shozo and Haru Ijima, brothers Kenji, Takeo and Takeji Ijima, and sister Harue Wiebke.
She is survived by daughters Hedy (Kenneth) Ladek of El Cajon, California, Lynn (Alan) Sabate of Honolulu, Laverne (Mitchel) Apo of Honolulu, Janice (Irwin) Oyama of Waimea, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and brother Charles Toyoji Ijima of Kailua, O‘ahu.
A private service will be held at a later date. The family requests no koden (monetary gifts).
Garden Island Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
