Ron Wood missed out on the Isaiah Dosono delivery because he wouldn’t answer his phone. Oh well, can’t let good food go to waste, so Lesther Calipjo (mahalo for the use of the man cave) scored on the missed opportunity.
Sonia Topenio (she got the last Terry Gordines floral arrangement so Terry could go home early) got to meet Vicky in person. Kudos to Casey Paul on the new trailer for Aloha Ginger Beer!
Kudos, kumu Kapu Kinimaka-Alquiza and her ‘ohana (all the musicians, performers and parent supporters!) on the great hula performance that packed the food court to standing-room-only! Great opportunity to see Rhoda Libre, Anson Lardizabal, Wes Kaui, and it’s a good thing Skip Caycayon was on bass because the lunch table was pretty crowded. They even got Ron Wiley to say a few words.
Too bad we had the special primary election (congrats to both Rebecca Like and Shay Iseri for advancing to the general election coming up in February. Don’t forget to vote).
