Kudos to Peach and her ‘ohana on coordinating another Little Pea’s Pop-Up Holiday Market!

This time, the silent auction (that Gerald Miller ‘ukulele donated by Glenn Ikemoto was definitely a winner! The sound is great even while getting it out of its holder) benefited Seeley Borges, who was undergoing her second round of chemotherapy.
Chanel Blackstad of Chan B Design knows Seeley’s family, and donated all the sales to Seeley, and Vicky Ramos had to do a return trip after all those people who came to see her at the last market. Kaua‘i Kokoro cookies for sale, too? Definitely good stuff. And you could sign up for the bone-marrow registry, too!
Jaime Jimenez (she came to visit her friend Courtney Wilson of Shipwreck) said mu‘umu‘u month is already on us, and she’s working on creating a bunch of things to do with mu‘umu‘u. Even have Gov. David Ige ready for a proclamation celebrating the mu‘umu‘u. Mu‘u at the Museum?
Kudos, too, Paul Horner and the Grove Farm Museum ‘ohana, on a great free ‘Ohana Night at the Grove Farm Museum that was spectacular with the main building and the false kamani tree lit up and enhanced by the full moon.
Carol Pratt (was strange seeing Sharron Weber sitting in something other than her pickup, and in the back seat, no less) said she had a tour in the morning, and then returned for the avocado in the afternoon. Paula Rosa was feeling bad the Grove Farm ice box cookies sold out quickly. Scott Johnson had inside duty because they used real candles on the Christmas tree, and even had the fireplace burning (that aroma of burning kiawe was magic).
