Fuatapu-He-Lotu Hakaumotu
Fuatapu-He-Lotu Hakaumotu, of Lihu‘e, passed away on Nov. 9, 2021, at the age of 46. He was born on Oct. 5, 1975, in Tonga. He was a mason.
He was preceded in death by parents Metui and Melefatima Hakaumotu, brother Taimoni Hakaumotu, and sisters Melevaleti Manumua and Haitelenisia Moala.
He is survived by brother Siosaia (Mana) Hakaumotu, sisters Susana (Kaulave) Falepapalangi, Mele-Finau (Uhiua) Lataimaumi and Moala Otoota, and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit the family on Thursday, Dec. 16, at Lihu‘e United Methodist Church. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. with services beginning at 11:15 a.m. Burial will follow at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home.

Roy Kazuo Nishiie
Roy Kazuo Nishiie, 67, of Kapa‘a, passed away at Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital on Dec. 4, 2021. He was born April 2, 1954 on Kaua‘i, and worked in Princeville.
He was preceded in death by parents Kazuma “Monty” Nishiie and Keiko Nishiie and brother Carl Nishiie.
He is survived by stepmother Celia Nishiie of Kilauea, siblings Cherry Ruth Nishiie, David John Nishiie, Elizabeth Raquel Nishiie (Ryan) Viloria and Rebecca Sarah Nishiie, and numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private services will be held.

Shizue Takaki
Shizue Takaki, 102, of Lihu‘e, passed away on Dec. 7, 2021. She was born in Wahiawa, O‘ahu on July 2, 1919, and worked as a custodian at Kaua‘i Community College.
She was preceded in death by husband Masaru Takaki and parents Toshiichi and Mika Tanabe.
She is survived by sister Hannah Furuta and numerous nieces and nephews.

Delores Lorene ‘Dolly’ Kikuchi
Delores Lorene “Dolly” Kikuchi passed away at the age of 78, in Kailua, O‘ahu, on Oct. 30, 2021. She was born in Allen County, Fort Wayne, Indiana, on July 11, 1943.
She was preceded in death by loving husband William Kenji “Pila” Kikuchi, her parents Emil and Edna Jackemeyer, and in-laws Edward and Gladys (Nishi) Kikuchi.
She is survived by daughters Kristina (Eric) Hanson, Kathleen (Jeremy) Kikuchi-Samonte and Michelei Kikuchi, brothers Elwood (Nancy) Jackemeyer and Loren (Lana) Jackemeyer, grandchildren Pilaho‘ohau‘oli Palenapa, Kyrie Pila Samonte, Zoe Samonte, Parker Hanson and Manina Tapati, brother-in-law Bertram (Helen) Kikuchi, and numerous nieces and nephews.
