LIHU‘E — Registration for the Mini Hoopster and Junior Hoopster Basketball Leagues will be held from Wednesday to Friday, Dec. 15 to 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in-person across the island.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis at the following locations:
• Lihu‘e Neighborhood Center (808-241-4465);
• Kalaheo Neighborhood Center (808-332-9770);
• Hanapepe Recreation Center (808-335-3731);
• Waimea Neighborhood Center (808- 338-1122);
The Mini Hoopster League is open to boys and girls in kindergarten and first grade. The Junior Hoopster League is open to boys and girls in second and third grades. This program is free for participants.
COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place, and participants must use masks indoors.
The basketball season runs from January to February. The games will be held at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center gym on Jan. 22, Jan 29, Feb 5, Feb. 12, Feb. 19, and Feb. 26.
