Jose G. Bolusan
Jose G. Bolusan, 84, of Lihu‘e, passed away on Nov. 25, 2021, at Wilcox Medical Center. He was born in the Philippines on Oct. 24, 1937, and was a farmer.
He is survived by wife Marcelia Bolusan, children Rogie (Jean) Bolusan, Catherine Cadiz, Rex (Regina) Bolusan, Jomar (Blessie) Bolusan, Lerma (Dames) Dalayap and Jenalyn (Rey) Peralta, 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous family members.
A celebration of life is Saturday, Dec. 18, at Immaculate Conception Church, with viewing at 9:30 a.m. and services at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home after the services. Face masks and social distancing are required.

Alika Sterling Marrotte
Alika Sterling Marrotte, originally from Anahola, passed away at the age of 50, on Sept. 12, 2021. He was born in Honolulu on May 3, 1971, and lastly resided in Las Vegas.
He was preceded in death by father Dennis P. Marrotte Sr., grandparents Lawrence and Sarah Marrotte, grandmother Harriet Kalai, grandfather Jacques Lopes, and sister Noelani Renee Marrotte.
He is survived by wife Lori Ann Figueroa Marrotte, son Justin Figueroa, mother Ilene Marrotte, siblings Dennis P. Marrotte Jr. of Anahola, Roy (Tiffany) Marrotte of Kapahi, David Marrotte of Anahola, Malialani (Liza) Kelekoma of Anahola, Keli‘i (Karla) Marrotte of Waipahu, Jason (Heather) Baptiste of Anahola, nieces and nephews Megan (Sean) Palombo, Alexa (Sateki) Marrotte, Dylan Marrotte, Kamalei Marrotte and Kamaehu Marrotte, all of O‘ahu, and Bryden Baptiste Marrotte of Anahola.
A celebration of life is Saturday, Dec. 11, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kapa‘a. Visitation with the family will be at 9 a.m. followed by a service at 10 a.m. The family suggests aloha attire.
Rosita ‘Rose’ Estacio Costa
Rosita “Rose” Estacio Costa passed away Oct 31, 2021, at the age of 85. She was born on Dec 18, 1935, on Kaua‘i.
She was preceded in death by husband Edward “Caldine” and son Joshua Jon.
She is survived by daughters Edwina (Randy) Simao of Hanapepe, Rowena (Scot) Jimenez of Ko Olina, Rosette (Warren) Bradshaw of Ko Olina, grandchildren Caleb (Deanna), Sheena, Nathaniel and Shaylah (Denzell), great-grandchildren Ryder and Talia, sister Felicidad Kusaka, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A virtual memorial service will be held via Zoom Saturday, Dec. 11.

Ann Misako Fontes
Ann Misako Fontes, 78, of Pahala, Hawai‘i Island, died Nov. 22, 2021, at Hilo Medical Center. Born March 3, 1943, in Kalaheo, she was retired from the University of Hawaii at Hilo Extension Services/U.E.
She was preceded in death by husband Franklin “Mac” Fontes and son Derek Fontes.
She is survived by granddaughter Cherish M. (Jesse) Kailiawa of Pahala, great-grandson Ke‘ao Kailiawa of Pahala, great-granddaughter Anelalani Kailiawa-Quinn of Pahala, brothers Owen (Gail) Yamaguchi of St. Louis, Mo., Howard (Joan) Yamaguchi and Dennis (Madeline) Yamaguchi of Kaua‘i, and nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
Due to COVID-19, private services will be held at a later date.

Guillermo A. Marcos
Guillermo A. Marcos, 79, of Lihu‘e, passed away on Nov. 29, 2021, at Wilcox Medical Center. He was born in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on Feb. 10, 1942. He retired in the Philippines as a provincial auditor of Illocos Norte after 40 years of service, and later became a sales clerk at Walmart on Kaua‘i.
He was preceded in death by parents Filomeno and Ernestina Marcos, sister Demetria Marcos, and parents-in-law Elpidio and Isabel Coloma.
He is survived by wife Julita Marcos, children Glenn (Blanca) Marcos, Gilda (Angel Jr.) Valera and Grace Anne (Ruel) Sahagun, sister Clarita Marcos (Emiliano) Remigio, grandchildren Brandon Jude Marcos, Aeden Valera, Gabruella Sahagun, Ally Sophia Sahagun, Madison Grace Sahagun, and numerous aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life is Sunday, Dec. 12, at The House of Prayer inside the Island Comfort building on the corner of Rice and Ewalu Streets in Lihu‘e. Visitation will begin at 3:30 p.m. with services to follow at 4:30 p.m.
