LIHU‘E — In observance of Thanksgiving Day, the following County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on Nov. 25:
• All refuse transfer stations and the Kekaha Landfill
• All neighborhood centers
• Both the Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools
• Hanapepe Farmers Market
• COVID-19 testing at the Kaua‘i War Memorial Convention Hall
• Mobile COVID-19 testing at the Kilauea Neighborhood Center
In addition, Puhi Metals Recycling Center will be closed on Thanksgiving Day as well as all HI5 Recycling Redemption Center locations. Please see kauai.gov/HI5 for location information.
The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged. The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its current daily schedule.
Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Friday, Nov. 26.

I think they are having a Thanks giving day lunch too at the Salvation Army in Lihue. Or some place. They always make one every year. For the people who just want to eat a nice lunch or dinner meal and be at peace with some thing. Then that is the place to be.
