LIHU‘E — The county Department of Public Works Engineering Division has launched its online application process via connect.kauai.gov for driveway-approach permits.
LIHU‘E — The county Department of Public Works Engineering Division has launched its online application process via connect.kauai.gov for driveway-approach permits.
Permits are required for any landowners planning improvements between the end of their property lines within the county right of way.
A link to the online application is available on the county website, kauai.gov/publicworks/engineering.
Once signed up, those interested should login to their account, click in the search box to find the form, and select the “Driveway Approach Application” icon. Follow system prompts through the application process with documents.
Once the application is submitted, it will be reviewed by DPW Engineering Division staff. An automated email response will include status of the application. Form progress can be reviewed at any time by logging back into connect.kauai.gov. Paper applications are no longer accepted.
