They created an interactive, dynamic backdrop for the Showtime Characters’ selfie stations at Kukui Grove Center in Lihu‘e.
Yes, the pair will be on hand today, Halloween, when the Resilience Project Keiki to Career folks host the Trunk or Treat in the Kukui Grove parking lot fronting Nawiliwili Road from 3 to 6 p.m. (Lots of time left for neighborhood trick-or-treating!)
Kimberly Hope (she also was on the entertainment lineup with Hank Curtis for the Kukui Grove Halloween Festival) is getting excited with her dog Rusty. Kimberly will host a Halloween special on YouTube livestream today from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with special guest appearances, and perhaps some prizes for anyone who sends in a selfie with their best Halloween costume.
Kudos to Stacie Chiba-Miguel, Pillare Mukai (Harvey Maeda said she did a lion’s share of pushing and pulling!) and The Shops at Kukui‘ula for pulling together the sold-out Trunk or Treat event, where keiki in costume could get a free keiki cone at Lappert’s, and get to tease the sandworm popping up near the Earthworks Pacific excavator.
More kudos to Tisha Ruiz of the Hawai‘i Foodbank Kaua‘i Branch for getting the information for the Westside food drive at the Westside Christian Center Assembly of God church Thursday. Through the efforts of Stephanie Iona and a lot of community-minded sponsors, they have another Harvest Celebration today starting at 5 p.m.
Happy Halloween!
