The weekly market was a perfect place to show off the Deja Vu Surf Hawai‘i African market bags, and Mana by Grande’s Gems (chef Glenn took care of her snack Wednesday) staff said they had to go check out Bon Moore’s work at the Kaua‘i Society of Artists gallery before the current show ends!
Capt. Shawn Keoho of The Salvation Army was out doing errands, but that didn’t stop Flora Visitacion and Seny Sagucio from finding armloads of kupuna day bargains at The Salvation Army Lihu‘e Corps Thrift Store during the hot-meal day Tuesday, where Darnell Sugioka Costales and Allen Huber had the Project Vision Hawai‘i Hi‘ehi‘e mobile shower up and running just in time for an Ashton Varner video report.
Mahalo to Al Sagucio, the Kuhio Nissan service advisor, for worrying about that pesky engine light that wouldn’t go out. Al took care of it, squeezing in a troubleshoot and fix to prevent me from getting stuck out in Waimea following the Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation girls volleyball games.
Keeping the car running is important, especially because it’s Halloween and there are a lot of Trunk or Treat events taking place around the island starting tonight and going until Sunday afternoon.
