Wailua
• Narrowed lanes of Kuhio Highway in the southbound direction between mile markers 5.7 and 6.6, in the vicinity of Leho Drive and the Kapaa bypass road, now through Friday, Oct. 22, 24 hours a day, for road and shoulder work.
Kapa‘a
• Lane closures on Hau‘a‘ala Road and Mailihuna Road from Monday to Friday, Oct. 18 to 22, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for excavation and installation of traffic-control items. Anyone with questions or concerns may contact Marie Poynter of Grace Pacific, LLC, at 808-699-4654.
Anahola
• Right shoulder closure of Kuhio Highway in the southbound direction between mile markers 11.8 and 13, Kukuihale Road and Kamalomaloo Stream, today through Friday, Oct. 22, 24 hours a day, for shoulder work.
Kilauea
• Single-lane closure of Kuhio Highway in both directions between mile markers 19 and 21.6, Wailapa Road and Kapuna Road, Monday through Friday, Oct. 18 to 22, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., for road-reconstruction and resurfacing work.

The delays at Kilauea were HORRIBLE on Friday, 10/15. It took 45 minutes to travel a couple miles, and it appeared the one-way controls weren’t being managed appropriately.
