Aloha everyone. I’m back with my 16th composition. On my 40th birthday, I watched the sunset from the shores of Kona and thought to myself: another day of my life will be gone when the sun disappears. But another day of my life reborn when the sun re-appears and, here I am, 51 years later at 91 on Sept. 14 to share my song.

“Today is the First Day of the Rest of My Life”
Another day of my life has gone when the sun disappears. Another day of my life reborn with the sun reappears, and then I know that today is the first day of the rest of my life.
Another fall of my life has gone when the cold winter comes, another spring of my life begins when the birds sing their songs, and then I know that this year is the first year of the rest of my life.
Chorus: The winters are few when I’m close to you, when you go away the rain seems to stay, but when I hold you once again, I realize that today is the first day of the rest of my life.
