LIHU‘E — In observance of Labor Day, County of Kaua‘i and most state and federal offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 6, along with all refuse transfer stations, the Kekaha Landfill and all neighborhood centers.

Because the Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools are closed on Mondays, staff will observe the holiday on Tuesday. The pools will reopen on Sept. 8.
In addition, Puhi Metals Recycling Center will be closed on Labor Day as well as all HI5 Recycling Redemption Center locations. See kauai.gov/HI5 for location information.
The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged. The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its current daily schedule.
Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Sept. 7.
