Kalena Pacheco (yes, she got married!) of Waipua Gardens has come a long way since first appearing at First Saturday in Kapa‘a. She was showing for the first time Thursday during the National Tropical Botanical Garden Aloha Market at the South Shore Visitor Center in Kukui‘ula.

Kudos to Kalena Pacheco (she’s related to the mayor of Kilauea!) and Dean and Nikol Nonaka, who were inaugural vendors Thursday when the National Tropical Botanical Garden Aloha Market opened its doors to the surge of shoppers at the South Shore Visitors Center in Kukui‘ula.
