LIHU‘E — Wilcox Health continues to respond to the needs of the community during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic with expanded hours at its drive-up COVID-19 specimen-collection site and weekly mobile-vaccine clinics scheduled around the island.
COVID-19 testing hours expanded
To accommodate the demand for COVID-19 testing, Wilcox Medical Center is expanding its hours for its drive-up COVID-19 specimen-collection site beginning today, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.
In addition, this weekend only, the site will be open Sunday, Aug. 15, from 9 a.m. to noon.
Screenings are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Individuals should bring with them a photo ID, insurance card and a physician’s order for testing. If they do not have a physician’s order, there is a testing fee of $150.
Kaua‘i mobile vaccine clinics scheduled Aug. 12 to 14
New mobile vaccine clinic locations have been added this week in Kapa‘a, Hanapepe and Hanalei in an effort to reach more members of the community who are not yet vaccinated for COVID-19. The effort, which is a partnership between Wilcox Health, the County of Kaua‘i and Hawai‘i Health Systems Corporation Kaua‘i Region, launched last week.
Mobile vaccine teams in a vaccination van will be visiting the following locations this week offering free vaccines for the community:
• Kapa‘a Neighborhood Center, today, noon to 3 p.m.;
• Hanapepe Recreation Center, Friday, Aug. 13, noon to 3 p.m.;
• Hanalei Neighborhood Center, Saturday, Aug. 14, noon to 3 p.m.
The clinics are open for walk-in vaccinations for individuals ages 12 and older. Both the Pfizer vaccine (two doses for ages 12+) and Johnson & Johnson vaccine (one dose for ages 18+) will be offered at no cost.
Individuals being vaccinated should bring a photo ID and an insurance card if they have one. Minors ages 12 to 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who will need to sign a consent form for the minor being vaccinated.
The mobile vaccination van will return to these same locations three weeks later to administer second doses for those who get the Pfizer vaccine.

Additionally, Wilcox Medical Center continues to offer an on-site vaccination clinic with appointments and walk-in vaccinations available on Wednesdays. The current schedule is available online at WilcoxHealth.org/Vaccine.
So with expanding testing, the numbers are sure to rise, and with that the restrictions and lockdowns!!. It’s not that were more sick it’s that the tests are more and the spike protein that they test for isn’t even accurate. CDC even admitted it. So get ready for less freedom because of more testing to go with the agenda of Lock us down and control us more all in the name of safety!! 99.8% survival rate people.
Wilcox forgot to mention that your PCP will not authorize a covid test if you are NOT showing symptoms, there for you will need to pay the fee. If the Government is forcing folks to get vaccinated or pushing the issue to get tested then they should also provide the fees to cover these options and/or provide more convenient locations and times for all.
Maybe when the vaccines work, the fear trap will be disarmed.
… of course, that would not be in the interest of those in control.
