‘ELE‘ELE — Carmila Udarbe, now a fifth-grade student at the ‘Ele‘ele Elementary School, will be joined by her mentor Basilio “Coach Bunga” Fuertes and Roy Miyashiro in distributing vegetable seedlings, Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m., or until the varieties supply is exhausted.
‘ELE‘ELE — Carmila Udarbe, now a fifth-grade student at the ‘Ele‘ele Elementary School, will be joined by her mentor Basilio “Coach Bunga” Fuertes and Roy Miyashiro in distributing vegetable seedlings, Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m., or until the varieties supply is exhausted.
The trio will be set up in front of the Gather Federal Credit Union branch in the ‘Ele‘ele Shopping Center offering seedlings for bittermelon, kabocha pumpkin, Sweet Filipino Peppers, Nitta purple variety eggplant, zucchini, Hikima, or chop suey yams, Japanese cucumber, Spiny Okra, Filipino long beans, and Heirloom tomatoes.
