Following more than a week of shoppers window-tapping, window-peering and even door-knocking, Daniel and Sarah Ouellet with their children, Emma, Isla and Maddox, open the doors to Paradise Sports Saturday, anchoring the Times Supermarket entrance to Kukui Grove Center in Lihu‘e. “We’re huge sports fans,” Daniel Ouellet said. “Before opening Paradise Sports, there was little for sports fans to choose from, and we had to do a lot of online shopping. Now, we have Paradise Sports.” The shop is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

Kudos to Kaua‘i Community College Chancellor Joseph Daisy, Vice-Chancellor of Student Affairs Margaret Sanchez, and the many hands that contributed to the success of the college’s fall informational ‘aha, where Dave Lister was doing a live broadcast on Star 94.3 (Denise Roberts of KQNG Radio had her two college students in tow).
