LIHU‘E — The County of Kaua‘i has extended the deadline to pay property taxes by 30 days. The new deadline is Sept. 20.
Payments can be made online at kauairpt.ehawaii.gov, by mail, in person, or at the drop box located outside the Kapule Building at the Lihu‘e Civic Center. Checks should be made payable to the Director of Finance.
Failure to pay real-property taxes in full by Sept. 20 will result in penalties and interest.
