Friday night music is back
Friday night music is back
Hallelujah!! Great balls of fire!!! Finally!!!
After all of the almost-15 months, the Friday night entertainment may be coming back to Kukui Grove Center.
Many have asked and, finally, it is coming true. This band is long overdue, and I am sure people have waited long enough, and the Sunset Swing Band will be more than eager to entertain everyone.
It is my understanding that the Sunset Swing Band has been invited to perform at the grove on July 2. The people will be able to dance to, listen to the old and sometimes new music, to eat at those different restaurants, and to once again meet and chat with old friends again, or just simply relax.
So people, gather your families, your friends, visitors and everybody else you can think of, to come over and once again enjoy the Sunset Swing Band play. Guaranteed, you’ll leave Kukui Grove smiling and happy. Make this a date for everybody.
Ray Domingo, Lihu‘e
Of all the letters Ray Domingo has written over the years to TGI, this is the most informative. Don’t go diving, too dangerous and you’ll die. Don’t go hiking too, you’ll get lost. Don’t go kayaking, you’ll run into trouble.
Instead go shopping at Kukui grove shopping center on a Friday night. This is more like it. Fun time. Very good Ray. Money is limited. But still people know how to have fun. Lots of people are in this line of thought. Summer is here.
Happy summer time.
Personally, I’m going to California. July 4th. Disneyland is open. And they are having a display fireworks on show. Shopping and hanging out at Disneyland is more fun to me. I’m going to buy a Jacket From Disneyland. Of all the places to go to, Kukui Grove shopping center ranks last on my list.
Happy summer time too.
Is this what many residence do on a Friday night? Hang out at Kukui Grove Shopping Center. I suppose if you grew up in 1970s the place was at Lihue Shopping center in Lihue. JC Pennys and an appliance store next door was the only two attractions. Really only 29,500 people on Kauai in 1978. It has come a long way. And a McDonalds in walking distance. Not that busy in 1970s.
And still not that busy.
