WAIMEA — Three conceptual site-plan alternatives for the Waimea 400 site will be presented during a virtual community meeting Thursday, June 17, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Registration for the meeting is available at the project website, waimea400.com.
The Waimea Public Library will host an outdoor, in-person, talk-story session about the conceptual design alternatives on Wednesday, June 23. Contact library manager Michelle Young, at 808-338-6848 to attend, as space is limited.
After the talk-story session, the alternatives will be posted at the library, and written comments can be submitted in the comment box until the end of June.

The Waimea 400 Master Plan refers to a 417-acre parcel on the mauka side of Kaumuali‘i Highway, between Waimea and Kekaha, which the County of Kaua‘i purchased in 2018.

I always liked books. Added this feature to my collection. As a Pakistani I think learning is on going. A bigger collection of books is a good thing.
I have been to Waimea Library. 1994 was the last time I stepped foot on it. Good to see new buildings around.
